Comment: I am CERTAIN that in the near future there will be "privacy" legislation, which will be the start of a Department of Censorship, no doubt known as MiniTruth to anyone who has read 1984. It will ostensibly be there to protect the families of murdered schoolchildren, maimed ex soldiers, and others whose private grief shouldn't be impinged upon. 

However this will not really exist for this purpose but to protect the WEALTHY, the POWERFUL, and the WICKED from the press. It will make such items as the recent superinjunction affair, involving Members of Parliament, dolly bird chasing  Footballers etc. much more difficult for the UK press to report. 

But this is not the MAJOR reason for the Fall of the House of Murdoch.

Investigative journalists everywhere, including this blog, do it because it is the only way to get the truth. Using the dark arts to sell more newspapers with ghoulish tales is, as many have said, disgusting and unacceptable.Momentum is building for press regulation, politicians of all parties are keen to tame the feral press. Public opinion is shifting towards them. This would be a mistake. The rich and the powerful in this country would like nothing better than to have a craven and beholden press. In many countries this is exactly what they have and ordinary people are worse off for it. Privacy laws are a trojan horse for censorship.Privacy from intrusion by the state or journalists who break the law by stealing photographs, hacking, climbing over the wall into your back garden, that should be protected. Privacy laws should not be a means to hide embarrassment for those who can afford to hire Schillings. That way lies an untouchable ruling elite.In the end Murdoch closed the News of the World because he feared an advertiser and consumer boycott (plus to try take the heat off the Sky takeover). If you disapprove of a newspaper don’t buy and read it. That is simply the most powerful restraint you have on newspaper proprietors in a free democracy. Even Rupert Murdoch fears his customers.Restrictive press laws will be circumvented in the borderless internet age, however Guido would rather not have to try to expensively fight the good fight from permanently offshore. Brokenshire: 'There is no link between crime and the economy'

Minister for Crime and Security James Brokenshire says Britain's economic woes have not caused an increase in crime, despite a sharp rise in the number of UK burglaries, according to the British Crime Survey (BCS).

The survey of 45,000 households indicated that burglaries in England and Wales increased by 14 per cent in 2010-11 compared with the previous year.

The figures also showed a 6 per cent increase in violent crime with a sharp rises in domestic violence and assaults with minor injuries.

Minister for Crime and Security James Brokenshire denied there was a a rise "in recession-led crime" and argued the figures were not statistically significant.

Only a politician can speak of a 14% rise in burglary, or a 6% rise in violent crime is "statistically insignificant".

The political class of Great Britain, like those of all Western nations,  have become completely dislocated from the real world. The exist in a bubble, of wealth, power and security.

Their incomes, their work, their life experiences are unlike 90% of the population.


Their children are never abused and sold as child prostitutes by Moslem child molesters.
Their wives are not gang raped by Somalian "asylum seekers" or refugees.
They are not murdered in their front garden by a gang of savages.
Their possessions are not stolen by junkie scum.  
They do not have to struggle with burglars inside their home.

Their income is guaranteed for their term of election, and most are reelected time after time - look at Tony Benn, Dennis Skinner, Ted Heath as examples: the vast majority sit for seats which rarely change allegiance, so thy are safe. Only a tiny minority of seats are swing seats, and an MP will move like lightening to a safe seat at the first opportunity. When they do retire they are kept in the lap of luxury with a gold plated, copper bottom, feather-bedded, taxpayer funded pension for life.

Crime isn't really bad. Unemployment is falling. We're doing something about immigration.  All these kinds of statements are the same sort of reassuring words you use to a child when thy ask difficult questions, but you can't ignore them.

They nod sagely and agree there are too many immigrants entering Britain, unemployment is terrible, housing is in short supply - whilst opening us to Syrian, Romanian,  Nigerian, Bulgarian, Liberian, Albanian, Egyptian, Ghanaian, Turkish, Botswanan, Iraqi, Iranian, Libyan, Afghani, Chinese, Kurdish, and South American immigration.

"We'll be tough on crime" they'll promise, whilst Ken Clarke MP, the whatever job title he is in the government  plans and plots to close prison places and flood the streets with criminals.

THEY NEVER SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS. THEY ARE OF A SELECT CLASS, THE SERVANTS OF THE ELITE POWERS OF THE PLANET, THE ROTHSCHILD CLAN IN THE CITY OF LONDON, THE JESUITS IN THE VATICAN, AND THE JEWS IN WASHINGTON DC.

But their reassurances - they're not working any longer.

And as the political class becomes more distant from the people, only one of two things can be the conclusion: tyranny or revolution.  Presently the tyranny is building. Elections no longer matter, as the three parties in the UK which are in reality the governing class - Lib, Lab, Con - have philosophically merged, and now the discussion centres around the differing means to the predetermined end, rather than what the end is (death of ideological difference).

There is an implicit admission that things are unravelling. We already see that the multiculturalism and equalitarian dreams of the sixties have failed to come to fruition by voluntary choice, creating a colour blind, gender neutral socialist and co-operative commonwealth in Britain.

We have to have repressive laws because the people have failed to accept the wisdom offered by our ruling elite: including long prison sentences for those who will not comply by either by accepting the paradigm of a coffee coloured world or just keeping their mouths shut.

We are now fined for a thousand and one things which would, thirty years ago have been totally unacceptable by the mass of people. New regulations and laws are created by the ream each and every month, thousands of them, that we virtually "break the law" just by leaving the house. These of course, under real, Anglo Saxon Common Law, are nothing, unreal, and worthless. There is now power to just fine people without a trial (Magna Carta), but the government owns all the guns, all the police, all the courts and all the prisons, so are able to simply tax people to the nhilt (which is what these spurious fines really are - indirect  taxes).

Of course, while the police and other bodies are fining you for leaving your car parked more than 12" from the kerb, or leaving a trash bag by your wheelie bin on bin day, or some other non crime, REAL CRIMINALS, who REALLY break the REAL law, keep up their wickedness: drug dealers deal, rapists rape, murderers play X Box games in hotel style "prisons", Child Molesters are "understood" by health care professionals, and fraudsters are given community service hours.

This has happened before, and will, until we change things, certainly again. Britain is riddled with those whose depravity knows no bounds, and there is always someone willing to supply whatever is wanted at a price.

There have been publicly well known cases - Kincora,Northern Ireland,  Islington, London, the Irish Republican Army, the Roman Catholic church, and recently Holly Grieg in Aberdeen  - where children have been supplied to senor and powerful public figures to sate their disgusting sexual depravities.

Here's the interesting questions: just WHO were these depraved animals producing and supplying child pornography FOR? Who placed this woman in the postition she held at the nursery? Why will she NOT identify the children? Why does the story focus on Blanchard and George? Who were the other three women?

Members of the Plymouth Safeguarding Children Board, which carried out the review, found the inspection regime was a "tick box" exercise and called for the government to look at the way checks are carried out by the regulator.

The board also called for the government to examine the way community-based, privately-run nurseries like Little Ted's are run to make sure they are monitored properly and staff are well trained.

George had been guilty of "inappropriate behaviour" before she was caught, including showing members of staff adult pornography and boasting about her sexual exploits. Because she was a senior worker, other staff did not feel able to challenge her, the review found.

George, 40, from Plymouth, was jailed last year for abusing toddlers. Using her mobile phone, she photographed children in her care as she abused them and shared the images with her accomplice, Manchester businessmen Colin Blanchard.

Four women, including George, and Blanchard have been convicted of making and sharing images of abuse. Prosecutors said they were part of "one of the most sickening paedophile rings this country has seen".

So: how was this woman placed into this position? Who were the referees? Why was there no formal interviews held? Who sat on the board of trustees, who were the managers, who were responsible for the appointment and activities of this woman?

There are no records of the post being advertised, nor is there any evidence that references were taken up or that a formal interview took place.

It was a privately-run community nursery and new staff were often friends of managers or trustees. However, George did undergo a criminal records check and was found to be of good character.

Her fellow workers generally talk of George as a popular member of staff and – as one of the older workers – she quickly came to be seen as a figure of authority.

George's behaviour began to change from December 2008. The married mother-of-two was described from then on as "always seeming to be on the internet and chasing men".

Staff heard that George had offered a man sex for doing her car MOT and that she had sex on the moors for money. She also began to show images of adult pornography that were on her phone to other members of staff. Staff were embarrassed and worried – but did not take action.

This woman was procurer of child pornography for others, for money, just as the local drug dealer sells dope. Blanchard was the middle man, not the Mr. Big, whose job it was to supply George with money, and receive the pornographic material.


The images and video procured by George, and handled by Blanchard wasn't for their own exclusive use. Who is the next person in the food chain, moving the pornography to those who want it?

It is suspected that Mrs George may have sent the images on a disk to Mr Blanchard, who emailed them to others.

Chf Supt Jim Webster, of Devon and Cornwall police, said: "We are taking the matter very seriously.

"It is difficult to identify exactly who is in the images at this stage.

"The starting point of the investigation was internet based. In an investigation of this nature there is often a chain of communication and passing on of images.

"We received information yesterday about the receipt of indecent images and searches are still on going. There is naturally great concern in the community. We will make sure parents and the wider community are kept informed."

I think that my readers will agree that there is a desperate need for some fresh thinking about money in the U.S.

Many respected analysts worry that the expected action by the Fed to apply a new bout of QE after the coming elections is fraught with danger.

Fiat money in the US is in an advanced stage of decomposition and when money rots, the whole social, economic and political structure of the nation rots with it. A return to sound money is urgent. More and more people are aware of the perilous road ahead if nothing is done.

The problems facing the US are so gigantic in nature, that an all-round solution to them is impossible when analyzed in practical terms. A return to sound money is a return to gold and silver as currency. Gold is outstanding as money – but how to realize that goal? Silver is great for popular use – but again, how to regain it?

The only way open to regain a sound footing of real money for the US economy must be by establishing a process through which there will be a gradual and natural return to sound money. It is impossible to reform or improve the present monetary system of the US any other way.

The US abandoned sound money in a series of gradual steps; the first metal out of the monetary system was gold, in 1933; the second metal out of the system was silver, in 1965. The return to sound money would follow those steps, in inverse order: silver would return first, because silver has always been the money of the people; gold would return last, silver having opened the way.

Why did silver coinage disappear from circulation in America?  It disappeared because the dollar price of silver rose to a point, back in 1965, where the value of the silver in the silver coin was superior to the value of the coin itself. The result was that most silver coinage was melted down into bullion, which had a value greater than the monetary value of the melted coins. On October 20 a silver dime contained silver worth $1.72! (www.coinflation.com) Dollar inflation caused by expansion of the fiat money supply and expanding credit drove up the price of silver and thus drove silver coinage out of circulation.

The gradual return of silver money to circulation in America

In today’s world, a world where the Fed is probably going to print another huge amount of money out of nothing by “QE2”, explicitly in order to cause the American people to have inflationary expectations, is it possible to think of silver money returning to circulation in America?

The answer is “Yes”! But, it must be done by a new method. This new method will operate gradually by introducing silver money into circulation in parallel with the present monetary system of “fiat” paper bills and digital currency.

In recent years, others have attempted to restore silver money to the US economy. However, these well-meaning attempts have not been well thought out and have failed. You will recall that not long ago, Von Notthaus got into trouble with the Feds due to his misguided work.

Private attempts to restore silver to circulation as money must necessarily fail. Money is an extremely sensitive matter and only the cooperation of government can allow any reform to the monetary system.

The powers that be in the US Government must recognize at some point that it is indispensable to the health and continuing existence of the US as we have known it, to restore silver coin into circulation. At present, its policy is to ignore public discontent; the results of the coming elections will probably do little to change its policy. The discontent of the American people will increase until the government hears the rumble of distant drums. Perhaps then, it will be willing to turn to silver, to appease the population.

Silver money can indeed be restored to circulation in the US, but it must be by a new method. Anything new in monetary affairs must always be suspect and must face an initial opposition. However, we are forced to resort to a new method because the conditions are new: inflation of the money supply and unlimited expansion of credit are new conditions which silver coinage, as it has been created for centuries, has never before faced.

A new method for monetizing silver

Silver went out of circulation because the monetary value of silver coins was engraved upon them. When the market price of silver rose, and the value engraved upon the coins was left behind and below the value of the silver in the coins, the coins became more valuable as bullion than as coins. The coins were melted down. The silver coinage disappeared.

This gives us the clue to restoring silver into circulation: eliminate the engraved value.

In this case, what would be the monetary value of a silver coin with no engraved value?

The answer is that – like a stock – its value would be a quoted value; however, unlike a stock, the quote would not be a market quote but a quote coming from the Treasury.

The legal tender monetary value of the silver coin quoted by the Treasury would take the place of an engraved value. This monetary value would be increased to meet rises in the price of silver, but remain stable at its last quote, during falls in the price of silver.

Stocks prices fluctuate, but the monetary value of a silver coin cannot be allowed to fluctuate, because money must have a stable value. A silver coin, whose quoted monetary value goes up and down, remains a commodity. It cannot be used as money. The Treasury must issue a stable quote for the monetary value of the silver coin with no engraved value.

This Treasury quote of the monetary value of this silver coin must always be superior, albeit by a small amount, to the market price of the silver contained in the silver coin. The difference between the market price of the silver in the coin, and the monetary quote issued by the Treasury, would result in a small profit for the Treasury, classically called “seigniorage”. Since the quoted monetary value of the silver coins would be slightly higher than the value of the silver contained in the coins, there would be no profit in melting them down. They would remain in circulation permanently.

We have ruined our economy with credit. The reason for this is the easy ability to create paper money, or today a new row of zeros on a hard drive. This is fine for the high flying and powerful, but -look around yourself - for the average bloke or gal on the street. 

Mass personal credit was impossible until the silver was removed from our coinage. In 1919, one shilling was 90/100ths silver, reduced in 1920 to 50/100ths, and even then, because silver cannot be "made", there was still not enough in circulation to have Credit Cards, personal loans and buy now pay in three years for the toiling masses.

For the same reason, welfare and general spending was controlled -  there was a NATIONAL INSURANCE FUND for example, wherein only what was paid in could be paid out (the failure of the fund was in it's organization, not a "fund" as an idea).

There was little inflation - and what there was was gentle, and often temporary - the price of silver and gold being a fixed amount. A shilling in 1750 bought more or less the same amount of goods - or more - in 1900.

The last sixty years have been a purposefully created fantasy, wherein the great mass of people were blinded and entranced with easy credit and toys. When the dust finally settles, we will have to rebuild our system of life, to return it to sanity. Paper money (and it's electronic equivalent cannot be trusted.

 

Stable coinage disbars governments from borrowing and then repaying debt by printing bank notes and enslaving the the people to the Rothschilds and friends for schemes and dreams of whatever gang of cranks oddballs and freaks control the Exchequer.

Stable money is vital to enable saving towards the bad times and toward retirement & old age. Allowing inflation is theft from the working people.

Prison reform campaigners welcomed ministers' partial concession yesterday to allow some prisoners the right to vote before next year's local elections.

Amid reports that Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg is examining which criminals should be allowed the right to vote, No 10 said it would be "unfortunate" if a blanket ban was lifted entirely.
But the Prime Minister's spokesman stressed the government would have to take into account a number of ongoing court cases on the issue as it examines a way forward.
European judges have previously ruled that Britain's outright ban on prisoner voting is unlawful under human rights laws, and the previous Labour government launched a consultation on the matter but failed to change the law.
Mr Clegg is reportedly looking at which prisoners might be allowed to cast a ballot to head off a collision with the Council of Europe which has given Britain three months to comply.
Asked if the Prime Minister felt there was a "moral imperative" to change the current situation his official spokesman said: "He would think that a lot of people in the country would find this difficult to understand, but we will have to take into account what the courts say."
Prison Reform Trust director Juliet Lyon said it was time to "overturn the outdated and counterproductive ban" on prisoners voting.
"Foot-dragging will no longer be tolerated by the Council of Europe," she noted.
"People in prison, with the exception of those proportionately punished for electoral fraud, must be enfranchised in time for the elections in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the local elections in 2011."
The issue threatens to further expose tensions within the coalition - the Tories have previously argued that the ban should remain in place while the Lib-Dems have argued for change.

Public sector cutbacks could lead to riots, one of the country's top police officers will warn this week.

Derek Barnett, president of the Police Superintendents Association, believes the country is facing a 'period where disaffection, social and industrial tensions will rise'.

His gloomy views are outlined in a draft copy of a speech he will give to his organisation's annual conference in Chester tomorrow.

His comments come just days after the Police Federation claimed the loss of up to 40,000 frontline police jobs because of Government cuts would be 'Christmas for criminals'.

Today, former Lib Dem leader Charles Kennedy became the first high profile Government backbencher to attack the cuts. Mr Kennedy said it was important not to 'throw the baby out with the bath water' when deciding where and how deep to wield the axe.haqvehaqve

Mr Barnett, in his first major address since taking over as head of the Police Superintendents Association earlier this year, will say tomorrow: 'We know that funding will be reduced, but the Government has to recognise that no matter how important dealing with the current financial problems may be, there will be an inevitable dilution of front line services if police budgets are cut too severely.

But here's the really interesting bit from the story:

'As we jail fewer criminals, there will be more criminals at large.

'As police funding is reduced there will simply be fewer police officers on the streets. Many forces are not recruiting, indicative of the financial climate which now prevails.

In his speech, due to be delivered in front of the Home Secretary Theresa May, he adds that the public have 'a right to know' the extent of the likely cuts in policing.

 Really? Might have been nice if this had been taken into consideration by the government BEFORE they released THOUSANDS of criminals under "Early Release" schemes. Thousands of rapists, murderers, and generally vicious thugs are wandering the streets, who are going to lose their welfare payments in the near future....


This is EXACTLY WHAT THE COMMUNISTS IN PARLIAMENT AND OUTSIDE OF IT WANT - Britain to become so disrupted they can slip into an open dictatorship.

Britain’s fast-rising population is now close to 62million, the latest count showed yesterday. 

Numbers of people in the country went up by 394,000 to reach 61,792,000 by the middle of last year, the Office for National Statistics said.

Millions are living in substandard accommodation, or are homeless. Millions of others are working like dogs in poorly paid employment being bled white for taxes.

A BBC presenter accused of wasting police time over claims that he killed a former lover dying of Aids admitted today that his apparent confession "got out of hand".

Ray Gosling, 70, could be jailed for up to six months after prosecutors said they believe he lied during a documentary on death and dying.

The veteran broadcaster and gay rights campaigner recorded a programme in February in which he claimed to have smothered a friend as he lay dying in hospital.

Speaking after being summonsed by police in Nottingham today, Gosling apologised but would not be drawn on whether he was telling the truth or not.

He could now face the bizarre courtroom situation of defending his actions by insisting he did murder the man.

In separate comments, his solicitor, Digby Johnson, said Gosling was the "author of his own misfortune" and he was glad "nobody has been killed".

Gosling said: "I'm sorry if the police think they wasted their time.

"It was a small item on a regional TV programme Inside Out, in my country, the East Midlands, to my people, with whom I have had an intimate relationship.

"It got out of hand that winter evening.

"I had had a week or two talking to people who had told me of the pacts they had had - some fulfilled with wives, lovers, husbands, who were dying in pain and some told me of pacts unfulfilled.

"I did not expect it to cause this fuss, I'm not joining any cause."

Gosling said his confession was a "moment" with an intimate audience on an intimate programme.

He added: "I know what some people say, that I said what I did for publicity to promote a book I'm writing. That is absolutely not true, I haven't finished the book yet.

"Some people say I did it to revive a dying career. I didn't.

"I said it out of my heart, out of my feeling for people who had told me their intimate private stories and it got out of hand and I'm sorry."

Gosling will appear before magistrates in Nottingham next month, accused of wasting police time.

The decision follows a lengthy police inquiry during which he was interviewed several times on suspicion of murder.

Gosling apparently confessed during BBC East Midlands' Inside Out programme and during news interviews the next day.

In the programme, Gosling said he smothered his partner because he was "in terrible, terrible pain".

In the shock confession in the 30-minute show about death, Gosling broke down, saying: "I killed someone once. He was a young chap, he'd been my lover and he got Aids.

"In a hospital one hot afternoon, the doctor said 'There's nothing we can do', and he was in terrible, terrible pain.

"I said to the doctor 'Leave me just for a bit', and he went away. I picked up the pillow and smothered him until he was dead.

"The doctor came back and I said 'He's gone'. Nothing more was ever said."

Speaking at the time, Gosling said he was not "making a cause" of assisted dying but said there was a case for changing the law.

His solicitor, Mr Johnson, said: "We are delighted that nobody has been killed, secondly that he has not been charged with murder and thirdly that the pressure of the uncertainty has come to an end.

"When all is said and done, when you watch him walk, he is not in the best of health and, however much he may be the author of his own misfortune, he certainly hasn't benefited from this.

"He is desperately sorry for all the waste and fuss he has caused. The police allege that he got carried away and made this up and they have spent a lot of time and money disproving this."

Asked whether he was critical of the BBC for running the programme, Mr Johnson added: "He (Gosling) doesn't have any criticism of the way he was treated by the BBC.

"We live in times when all sorts of rubbish gets broadcast. If somebody is saying something they know to be true, would you doubt him?

"Are you going to check every comma? Certainly it was a central fact. They (the BBC) obviously made the wrong decision but they made the decision that what he said was reliable enough to broadcast. We all get it wrong sometimes. How much diligence they (showed) is a moot point."

Helen Allen, of the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "The police established that there was sufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of proving that Mr Gosling's confession was false and asked the CPS to consider whether he should be prosecuted for wasting police time, given the amount of work they had to carry out to establish what had happened.

"After careful consideration of all the evidence I decided that Mr Gosling should be prosecuted for wasting police time and advised the police to obtain a summons to that effect."

The idea is in a consultation paper on the government's drug strategy for England, Wales and Scotland.

Some experts have suggested that withdrawing benefits could lead addicts into crime and prostitution.

The Labour government intended to carry out pilot schemes this year to get drug users into work.

Under the plans, addicts who failed to attend a treatment awareness programme would lose welfare benefits.

AN immigrant nurse who netted nearly £26,000 in state handouts while falsely claiming she was unemployed was spared jail yesterday – and can take up to 30 years to pay the taxpayers’ cash back.

Elisa Alcomendas, 51, will be 81 years old by the time she settles her debt with Redbridge Council, London, which it is currently “clawing back” at just £15 a week, a court heard.

And the Filipino’s repayments will only be deducted from other state handouts to which the mother of three will still be entitled, it was revealed.

Last night Matthew Elliott, chief executive of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “Taxpayers are being fleeced by a ridiculous system that is using money from the public purse to pay back the public purse.”

At Snaresbrook Crown court Prosecutor Rebecca Channon said: “She started to claim housing benefit and council tax benefit in June 2006. When visited by officers on three occasions she declared no other income other than income support and child benefit. She was employed as a nurse.”

Suspending her six-month jail term for two years, Mr Recorder Brendan Finucane QC, rejected a prosecution application to seek confiscation proceedings. And there is no court order forcing her to make repayments.

The judge explained: “I cannot make a compensation order lasting 10 or 30 years.”
