Protests 'frightening' for book party guests, says Tony Blair - UK Politics, UK - The Independent

You really are just a spatter of puke, Tomy.

If there is any justice in this world, Tony, you will, after a trial, be strung up with piano wire, but not before you have watched thousands die, and seen your family tortured and killed in front of you. That's what your  actions have lead to for MILLIONS of people in the Middle East.

And ironically, in your war for "democracy", you have destroyed the most modern most advanced, most secular country in the Middle East - Iraq. You suit the church you converted to, because only a man who admires the evil that emanates from the Roman Catholic church could be so blind to what he has done.

Tony Blair called off a party tonight to mark the launch of his new book, saying it would be "frightening" for his friends to have to walk past anti-war protesters.
Guests invited to the event, at the Tate Modern gallery in Central London, were told that it had been postponed, a spokeswoman for the book's publishers Random House said.
Campaigners against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had planned to demonstrate outside Tate Modern and criticised the gallery for allowing the party to be held there.
Mr Blair told ITV1's This Morning: "It is sad in a way because you should have the right to sign books or see your friends if you want to.
"But it was going to cause so much hassle. The people at the party tonight are friends - and some of them are not political at all.
"I don't mind going through protesters - I have lived with that all my political life. But for other people it can be a bit unpleasant and frightening."
The party would go ahead at some stage as a thank you to the people who had helped produce the memoir, he said.
It is the second time the former prime minister has called off an event after he cancelled a signing session of his memoir, due to be held at the Waterstone's book store in London's Piccadilly today.
After cancelling the book signing the ex-premier said he did not want to subject the public to the "inevitable hassle" protests would cause or use up police resources keeping order at the event.
Lindsey German, convener of the Stop The War Coalition, who had planned to protest outside the Tate Modern gallery, said it was a "big victory" for the anti-war movement.
"Tony Blair is running scared of the peaceful, democratic protests which will follow him wherever he goes. A recent poll showed that close to 50% of the British public believes that Mr Blair lied to parliament and the country to take Britain into an illegal war.
"The anti-war movement is determined that one day he will be brought to account for his war crimes in Iraq.
"Those who oppose such protests would deny the rights of the anti war majority to make their feelings known and would ignore the terrible suffering of hundreds of thousands of victims of Mr Blair's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan."
Eggs and shoes were hurled by protesters and one attempted to make a citizen's arrest when Mr Blair signed copies of the book, A Journey, in Dublin last weekend.
The book is the biggest-selling title across the UK, with total sales of around 100,000.

Afghan refugee pupil misses university place - despite five A grades and one A* . I just don't care.

Just like the Liberians. Just like the Kosovans. Just like all the other "refugees" (AKA economic migrants). You are economic migrants BECAUSE you came here, specifically to Britain, when you crossed at least a dozen other countries to get here. Here's a map:

Hint: Britain is the ISLAND behind France Belgium and Holland, next to Norway. Can you see Iran? That's near where you're from. You could have gone to Turkey, Albania, Ukraine, Moldova, Greece.... Israel, Cyprus, Malta...

Yes, that's right. Britain, being an island, needs to be arrived at from another destination. Like France. But of course France and many other countries don't want you do they? France is allowed to dictate who it takes, and, as you wanted to be in Britain anyway, well, you're here.

I am not interested in any sob stories, hard lives, difficult circumstances.

I just don't care. Go home. Go back to Afghanistan. Go and live the life you were meant to, for good or ill. You are stealing resources from good, decent white indigenous people whose ancestors slaved and sweated for Britain to be what it should be today. The schools, houses, and workplaces were not - never were - built so that you and your fellow Islamists could vomit into the United Kingdom and change our homeland.

And that's the truth: there is a conspiracy amongst the Elite to replace the British people - white people - with others, and I will not stand by and watch this conspiracy played out - the theft of Britain from it's people, treason by any standard.
A Teenager who fled war-torn Afghanistan three years ago has failed to win a single university place despite achieving seven A and A* grades at A-level.
Rohilla Maarij, 18, had been learning English for just two years when her family escaped the Taliban and claimed asylum in the UK.
She learned on Thursday that she had achieved an A* in maths and six As in biology, chemistry, physics, further maths, Persian and Urdu at William Hulme's Grammar School, a city academy in Manchester.
